"The CHOICES program gives students the opportunity to look 10-15 years down the road at the life they want to have and determine what will be required of them to get there. That is a great exercise for anyone, and the younger you start making the right choices to get you to your desired life, the better off you will be. After participating in this workshop, students understand that dropping out of high school severely limits their future opportunities and no longer see this as an option. As a community member anytime you can improve the future of young people, you are making a positive impact on the success of your community. By creating a better workforce we enhance our ability to attract quality employers to the area."-Curt Fowler

WANTED- Leaders who can present a dynamic, fun, fast-paced workshop that helps students see the importance of their personal choices in life, now and in the future.
CHOICES is an interactive live classroom workshop that empowers teens to make positive educational CHOICES to increase their career and life opportunities.
In two 45-minute sessions trained volunteers from the business community take students through real-world exercises on the consequences of dropping out and the benefits of educational attainment, also introducting them to skills for success such as self-discipline, decision making, time management and goal setting.

CHOICES is a GREAT workshop, both for the kids and presenters! It is so REWARDING to see the light bulbs turn on inside kids' heads when they realize they can take charge of their lives. You can help teens face the REALITY of what would happen if they dropped out of school. CHOICES asks what they are doing about their future NOW and what they plan to do about it in high school.
All presenters get training and receive a kit with a course guide, activity props, handouts. Add your own spin to it and you’re ready to go!
