The Greeting Service was founded in 1956 to help newcomers in the Valdosta area with their relocation by orienting them to local services and businesses that meet their specific needs. Owners Karen Reissiger and Patti Minton took over the service in 1995 and eventually expanded the service to include the nearby towns.

Our greeters personally welcome our new neighbors and provide information to make transitioning to a new home as easy as possible. Please feel free to contact us with questions before or after your move. If you are new to the area and would like a welcome packet, let us know! Please visit: www.southgeorgianewcomers.com
