The Chamber of Ambassadors honored Advanced Infusion Care as Leading Business of the Week for February 5, 2018. Advanced Infusion Care was proud to receive ACHC accreditation for Infusion Pharmacy, Infusion Suite, Nursing, and Specialty Pharmacy. Tom Patterson, General Manager, cited both patients and employees as reasons to love working at Advanced Infusion Care. According to Patterson, “It’s all about people: The patients we serve and provide care to, and our loyal employees that tirelessly do so.” In the coming months, the company looks forward to improving their facilities with a “state-of-the-art” Clean Room—a room with fewer and smaller particles in the air. Patterson credits the Chamber of Commerce with “foster[ing] a pro-business environment in our community to help all businesses better serve their clients, develop and retain quality staff, and make doing business in our community easier.” The Leading Business of the Week program is designed to recognize members who have partnered with the Chamber for at least five years. The 2018 Leading Business of the Week program is proudly sponsored by Colson Business Systems. For more information, visit www.ValdostaChamber.com/Leading-Business-of-the-Week.

What you need to know is the disrespect and negligence going on behind the doors of this “specialty infusion pharmacy”. athey are in no way prepared or qualified to be dispensing IV drugs - especially those that are a matter of life or death, when they have NO understanding of the weight of the conditions and patient lives they are supposed to be improving. Two out of two interactions with them have both been miserable failures. The first of which has landed me with an infection and consequent antibiotic therapy I did not previously need. Major re-evaluations, training, & changes in employment need to be made.

First of all, they do not dispense “life or death” medication. Second, why did you go back after the first “miserable” interaction? There are other specialty pharmacies in the area and it is always your choice. Third, if you know what’s going on “behind the doors” of this company, might you be a disgruntled ex-employee or family member of one? In that case, your words are meaningless. The company has been around for more than 25 years so they must be doing something right. Congratulations AIC!

Sorry you had to go through that twice. IV drugs can be life and death, it happened in the UK, a syringe that was not sterilized correctly caused meningitis to the patient. They claim they've never had sterility issues so this is new but I'm glad you spoke up. Clearly you are not an employee, but an ex-patient.
