The Chamber Ambassadors honored City Market as the Leading Business of the Week for May 20, 2019.
In 2018, City Market celebrated 10 years of business. The store opened in downtown Valdosta and relocated five years ago to 3215 N Oak Street Extension. City Market is a boutique offering apparel and accessories for women, items for babies and gifts for everyone.
“Customers can now add a monograms to many gifts to add that personal touch,” said Jessica Lane, owner.
City Market continues to offer something new to their shoppers each day.
“We have new items arriving daily to keep things fresh and new for every season and occasion.”
The boutique is passionate about interacting and building relationships in the local community.
“Working at City Market gives us the opportunity to meet and help our community with their needs,” said Lane. “It’s fun to get to know so many people.”
Lane stated, “We have the opportunity to be positive influences to our employees. They have all become family that continues to stay in touch with us.”
City Market is a proud member of the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce.
“The Chamber has been a great voice for us,” said Lane. “They are a great source of information and the Chamber staff members are very good at communicating events and opportunities.”
According to Lane, marketing with other Chamber members has been beneficial to City Market.
“I believe that people trust the Chamber and their recommendations,” said Lane “They are the voice of our business community. “
