The Chamber Ambassadors honored CuraCare Health Services as the Leading Business of the Week for Oct. 15, 2018.
CuraCare has been providing home health care services in a 10-county area since 1966. “Our staff strives to have a great relationship with our patients,” said Cindy Felton, executive director, “making them feel secure with the services they receive in their home.” CuraCare’s local non-profit agencies are continually searching for new ways to increase patient outreach. They offer private home care services with Public Health Personal Support Services, Inc., which includes personal care aide services, nursing care, and sitter services. According to Felton, CuraCare strives to provide care that will help their patients feel comfortable and at ease in their homes. “CuraCare is committed to serving the community, and I am proud to be a part of such an agency,” said Felton. “We get to be involved in assisting patients and making sure they receive the affordable care they need.” Felton said the Chamber provides CuraCare the opportunity to be involved with the community. “We are made aware of upcoming events that can continue to help our agency flourish,” Felton said. “The Chamber makes us aware of other small and upcoming business in the area that we can reach out and provide services to.” The Leading Business of the Week program is designed to recognize members who have partnered with the Chamber for at least five years.
