The Chamber Ambassadors honored Southwest Georgia Bank (SGB) as the Leading Business of the Week for August 13, 2018.
Since opening as a full-service branch in Valdosta in June 2010, SGB has grown to $200 million assets in Lowndes County. According to SGB, this represents $100 million in deposits, more than 2,500 deposit accounts, and $190 million in loans in the Lowndes County market. Additionally, SGB has invested more than $7 million in capital investment and employs a total of 25 individuals between the two Valdosta locations.
