Annual Economic Summit
The Chamber Economic Summit is a forum that brings together top businesses, community and education leaders to discuss topics that are important to the growth, development and sustainability of Valdosta-Lowndes County. The event features a presentation by Valdosta State University’s Center for Business and Economic Research on the economic health of the community and how it compares to 14 peer communities.

The Business Outlook Breakfast is an annual event at which the Chamber welcomes top business leaders to hear about the economic outlook.

Chamber Spectrum Benefits is a program that provides affordable ACA-compliant health insurance to small businesses that may not have had that opportunity. It takes small and mid-sized businesses and underwrites and rates them as if they were large businesses under the umbrella of the Valdosta Lowndes Chamber of Commerce.

SEEDS is an acronym, which stands for Sowing Entrepreneur and Economic Development Success. It is a source of up-to-date information for aspiring entrepreneurs, start-up businesses, existing businesses or individuals searching for custom market data, industry profiles, demographic reports, competitor information, targeted sales leads and much more. The primary goal of the SEEDS Business Resource Center is to enhance the capability for new venture clients to compete more successfully in their respective businesses via strategic partnerships.

If you are a new member, or an established member looking to get more involved, Membership 101 is a great opportunity for members to learn more about the Chamber, get to know the Chamber staff, and let the Chamber staff get to know your business a little better!

The Chamber presents awards for Members’ Choice, Young Professional of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, and Most Valuable Employee. In addition to these awards, the Chamber presents two special awards: The A.L. Girardin Award and the BIG Thinker Award.
Connection Magazine: Connection Magazine is a publication targeted for affluent seniors in the Valdosta area. If your business offers special deals or discounts for seniors, or if your business offers programs and services specific to the needs of seniors, Connection magazine is a great place to advertise your business directly to your target market.

WE ARE PROUD to introduce a new and improved Progress Magazine for 2019. The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber has published Progress for more than forty years. We decided it was time for a change! The 2019 issue will be an online flippable magazine that will recognize one sponsor. As the world head’s toward digital avenues, your cutting edge Chamber Chamber searched for new ways to tell the Chamber’s story without competing with our members. This digital magazine will come out quarterly and will be compounded by the end of the year into the Annual Report that behaves like actual paper books with amazing page flip animations and sound.

The Chamber offers members the opportunity to showcase their products and services at an annual business-to-business Expo.
